Microlearning is learning that is provided in short bite-size bursts. This webcam video explores different social media platforms that can be used for microlearning, with specific emphasis on TikTok. In addition to exploring it's features that can be used for microlearning, associated privacy and security issues are discussed.

An infographic I produced that shares the definition and uses of Web 2.0 tools along with examples and information on how each tool can be used in the education/learning and development fields. This graphic was adapted from a template originally found on Piktochart. It was adapted to increase visual appeal and provide an organizational structure that the content needed.

This 12-minute presentation compares the advantages and challenges of four LMS systems: Moodle, Eduflow, Learning365, and Adobe Learning Manager. It is designed to support individuals who are looking for a learning management system to find one that supports their audience and needs.

Virtual Onboarding Plan

A 2-hour onboarding plan for fictional restaurant called Aimee's Place. The plan includes an icebreaker and mock-up of interactions. An explanation of the learning theory the training is based on, and a training evaluation plan that targets the four levels of the Kirkpatrick model.

A journal article on the synergistic power of microlearning and gamification highlighting an approach to boosting employee engagement in corporate training programs. This article was submitted to a peer-reviewed scholarly journal in the field of adult learning in June 2024.
